Anthony Field, perhaps better known as the Blue Wiggle, finds incredible peace and solace at the heart of the Northern Territory, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
Field’s first visit to Uluru was in the 1980s, but he has since been back numerous times with his wife and their three children.
Field believes that Uluru is the essence and true spirit of Australia. For Field, a visit to the red centre is akin to a retreat.
As many people know, one of the most beautiful things about a trip to Uluru is watching colours change on the rock as the sun sets or rises. Field said there is a shaded waterholes close to the rock that is perfect for taking in the sights.
Above all, Anthony Field loves Uluru because it is a place where he can relax and allow his brain to slow down. He is a firm believer that all Australians should go to Uluru if they have the chance.
