Enjoying South Gippsland

Yanakie is a community of only 250 people, in South Gippsland, Victoria. However, this place is popular with holiday-makers as it is the last town before reaching Wilsons Promontory National Park and it provides the closest accommodation to the park.

One of the best things about this accommodation is its proximity to Wilsons Promontory National Park. It is a spectacular drive to and through the park where walking tracks to suit many levels of experience can be found. Visitors have the opportunity to walk through beaches, bird-rich wetlands, fern gullies and granite headlands.
