Short or Long Tours on Your Australian Trip?

For a country as vast as Australia, the multitudes of guided tours available offer fantastic opportunities for travellers to see and do it all. With so many tours to choose from, however, it can be hard to decide which one will suit your travel style the best. One of the first things to consider before booking a tour is whether you want it to be short or long. There are plenty of benefits to each, so they have been listed here to help you make a decision that will ensure your holiday to Australia is memorable.

Pros of long tours

  • You are completely taken care of. If your entire time visiting Australia will be defined by your tour, then you can sit back and relax knowing that all the details of your trip are taken care of, such as accommodation and transport.
  • Easier to budget for. Since your accommodation, transport and meals are taken care of on an extended tour, once you’ve accounted for the tour, flights and spending money, your travel budget is complete!
  • Get to know your fellow travellers. On longer tours, you will get to know your guide and travel companions better, making for a far more enriching travel experience.
