Young Snow Fans hit the Slopes From an Early Age

Snow sports are well-known for being popular with thrill-seekers of all ages but these might be the youngest of all.

News.com.au recently reported about a group of tiny skiers and snowboarders at Perisher. Appearing to be confident on the white stuff, these children can be as young as three but are tackling the slopes with aplomb.

According to a ski instructor, kids could be taking to snow sports better than some adults because of their attitude. Whilst adults may overthink aspects such as technique and fear, the children just get on and do it, despite only just being able to walk in some cases.

The young sports stars generally attract respect and space from other users at the resort as they hit the slopes, although the report noted that some of the small snowboarders face trouble from older people as they get cut up during their descent.
